The Women's College (Women only)

The Women’s College offers a dynamic living and learning community for young women who relocate to Brisbane to undertake tertiary studies at their chosen university. Our College is a place where you can embrace opportunities and discover your potential with the support of a welcoming, vibrant environment for university students.

The College offers fully catered student accommodation, providing three hot meals every day, seven days per week, including fresh fruit and snacks. Our food and beverage staff provide for all dietary requirements. Rent includes a study or ensuite bedroom, weekly room cleaning service, five-star catering, 24/7 security and wi-fi. Students have access to a Study Hub, wellbeing centre (gym), tutorial spaces, theatre, music room, tennis/basketball courts, car parking and much more.

Women’s is located at St Lucia, close to the CBD and within 15 minutes by public transport (bus) to the QUT Kelvin Grove and Garden’s Point campuses.

Women’s is more than just a place to stay. The College focuses on the academic, mentoring and career development needs of each student, along with providing support for wellbeing and access to a diverse range of leadership, sporting, cultural, community and social activities. Centred on equity, Women’s is a place where women support women. The diversity, talents and personalities of more than 250 residents and 50 non-resident associates who call the College ‘home’ are celebrated and appreciated.
