The house is an older style, timber Queenslander, with a huge shared common space (kitchen, lounge, dining - Photos 1 + 2).
The house is fully furnished, but you can bring whatever furniture you like for the bedroom, or you can choose from what we have.
We are set back from the street in a safe suburb - Bardon. With the windows open, there is a fresh, cool breeze 24 / 7.
Looking out into the trees (Photo 4), in the mornings you can hear butcher birds, kookaburras, magpies and if you are really fortunate - a pheasant coucal.
The available bedrooms are suitable for a single person and there is minimal background noise, so conducive to studying!
The bathroom is shared (Photo 3).
We are + / - 4k's to the city, QUT (Garden's Point), the Conservatorium of Music (+ South Bank), and the Wesley Hospital; 7 - 8k's to UQ (St Lucia), QUT (Kelvin Grove), RBWH and Herston Medical campus, and Brisbane State High.
All are easy cycle rides.
Also multiple bus routes, including: 475 (bus stop at the door); 476: 200m; Great Circle, 598 / 599: 250m; 375: 1k; 61 + 185 routes: 1. 1k; Milton train station: 3k's (475 bus door to door).
Rosalie shops and cafes: 2k's (475, door to door); Paddington Central: 3k's (475 + 750m walk).
The Western Freeway is 2k's away.
Rosalie and Bardon State Schools are a short walk and many of Brisbane's most respected public and private schools are within a 7k radius.
Walks in Mt Coot-tha are a few minutes away.
We, the owners, live in another unit on the premises.
There is potential rehearsal space available - including a piano.
